Custom Pendant Manufacturer for Jewelry Brands
HaoLustra is a B2B jewelry manufacturer operating its own factory in Qingdao, China. We help jewelry brands turn original pendant artwork into a feasible sample and a defined bulk-production specification—without requiring a complete necklace order.
Start with a logo, sketch, CAD drawing or reference piece. We review the pendant body, visible detail, hanging orientation and chain fit before discussing the production route, MOQ and quote.

Custom Pendants Developed Around Your Design
A logo pendant, a flat medallion and a sculptural pendant require different decisions. HaoLustra evaluates the intended size, relief, material direction and quantity before confirming what can be made.

Logo & Signature Pendants
Translate a symbol into wearable dimensions without losing the details that make the brand recognizable. Very fine lines and enclosed spaces may need adjustment at actual scale.

Medallions & Geometric Forms
Define the outline, edge profile, thickness and reverse-side finish. A flat design still needs a real-world hanging point and suitable weight.

Raised & Sculptural Pendants
Explore depth and raised surfaces alongside production feasibility. A dramatic rendering may need a revised profile, thickness or surface treatment to work as an actual piece.
A Good Pendant Design Must Also Work as a Physical Product
This is where HaoLustra’s factory-led development discussion is most useful. We look beyond the front-facing artwork to the points that could cause a mismatch between the CAD view, the sample and the finished jewelry.
| What the buyer wants | What we review before sampling | What to check on the sample |
|---|---|---|
| Readable brand mark | Target size, small lettering, line width, recesses and the intended production method | Is the identifying detail still clear at actual pendant size? |
| Correct hanging direction | Connection-point position, body proportions and expected suspended orientation | Does the piece face the right way when worn? |
| Fit with an existing chain | Bail opening, chain width and the dimensions of any end fitting that must pass through | Can the intended chain be fitted and worn as planned? |
| Comfortable finished form | Thickness direction, edge profile, reverse-side construction and weight expectations | Are the proportions and contact surfaces acceptable for the intended use? |
The exact manufacturing route and checks are confirmed for the design; this table describes the review questions, not a universal specification or guaranteed test result.
Get the Bail, Balance and Chain Fit Right
Pendants are made to hang. The body and its connection therefore need to be evaluated together, especially when the buyer already has a chain supplier.
A pendant can look centered in a drawing but tilt when suspended. A chain may fit through the bail while its clasp cannot. A heavy relief can change how the piece sits against clothing. These are design questions worth resolving before approving the sample.
- Hanging: review the relationship between pendant silhouette, connection position and intended orientation.
- Clearance: confirm the usable bail opening against the chain and relevant end fittings.
- Wear: review thickness, projected depth, weight expectations and back-edge treatment.
If a chain is already selected, share its width and end-fitting dimensions. HaoLustra can assess the fit requirement within the proposed pendant project; actual performance is checked against the agreed sample.

How HaoLustra Moves Your Pendant Toward Production
You can approach us without a finished technical drawing. We help identify the missing decisions first, rather than promise a production method from a reference image alone.
Review the design at actual size
Send artwork, dimensions if known, an intended chain and an estimated order. HaoLustra discusses the front, side and back of the pendant, including details that may disappear when scaled down.
Clarify what needs a decision
Material, finish, bail construction and any CAD or tooling requirement are discussed against the design. If a proposed detail is difficult to reproduce, we review alternatives that preserve the important look.
Use the sample as a reference
For an agreed sampling project, the buyer checks the real pendant’s scale, visual details, connection and surface. Confirmed requirements and the approved sample inform the bulk-production specification.
Choose Materials for the Design, Not Just the Color
HaoLustra works with jewelry projects involving stainless steel, brass and other suitable metals, subject to design and production review. The selection influences weight, relief, surface appearance, production preparation and price.
We discuss whether a polished, matte or textured appearance suits the piece and what can reasonably be achieved using the selected material and available process. An image showing a gold-tone surface is a visual reference—not evidence of a particular plating method, thickness or performance rating.
Specific metal grades, finishes, special processes and testing requests are confirmed for each project. We do not assume every design can be made in every metal or guarantee waterproof, hypoallergenic or permanent color performance without appropriate evidence.
Send a visual target
Share a close-up showing the intended color and texture, and specify which parts of the pendant should be treated. For repeat variants, tell us whether the changes are limited to the finish or also affect size and geometry.
HaoLustra can then discuss feasible directions and what should be checked in the sample before quantity and unit pricing are finalized.
MOQ, Samples and Bulk Cost for Custom Pendants
For many standard jewelry projects, HaoLustra uses around 50 pieces per style as a working MOQ reference—not a guaranteed minimum for every custom pendant. The final MOQ depends on the actual geometry, material, finish, setup and quantity per variation.
Understand the quotation
A meaningful quote distinguishes any design or CAD work, sample development, tooling where needed, and the bulk unit price. Pendant size, metal weight, dimensional complexity, surface treatment and quantity all affect the production route and cost.
We discuss which details are essential to brand recognition and which could add complexity without a clear benefit. Any adjustment remains a design decision for the buyer to approve.
Confirm before bulk production
Where a sample is agreed, review the real piece before approving its production reference: silhouette, detail, surface, bail opening, chain fit and any documented acceptance requirements.
Sampling fees, revision scope, tooling ownership, lead times and final unit pricing are project-specific and should be confirmed in the quotation rather than assumed from a published example.
A Jewelry Factory Partner, Not a Pendant Catalog
HaoLustra operates a jewelry factory in Qingdao, China, supporting development discussions, sampling, manufacturing, finishing, applicable inspection and repeat orders for B2B buyers.
Our advantage is a specification-led conversation: you can arrive with a sketch and an intended brand outcome, while the project review identifies the dimensions, finish and connection details that still require agreement.
After sample approval, agreed specifications become a reference for production and subsequent orders. Depending on the design, specialist materials, components or processes may be coordinated with appropriate suppliers; not every operation is represented as entirely in-house.

What Should Be Checked Against the Approved Pendant?
The approved sample and agreed specifications—not a generic photograph—help define what production and inspection should compare.
Visual identity
Shape, logo legibility, raised or recessed detail, reverse-side artwork and expected surface appearance.
Physical fit
Specified dimensions and thickness, bail or connector arrangement, alignment and sample-confirmed chain fit.
Order completeness
Approved variant, agreed components, order quantity and packing arrangement before shipment preparation.
Any numeric tolerance, plating test, compliance test or third-party inspection must be defined and agreed separately. No unspecified certification is claimed.
Have a Pendant Design to Review?
Send the sketch or logo, approximate size, intended chain and expected quantity. HaoLustra can clarify the open questions before discussing a sample and production quote.
Custom Pendant Manufacturing FAQ
Can HaoLustra make a pendant from a logo or sketch without CAD?
You can send a logo, sketch, image or physical reference for an initial review. We discuss the finished size, depth, connection and surface appearance. If CAD or a sample is needed, its scope and cost are confirmed according to the project.
Can I order just the pendant without buying a complete necklace?
Yes, a pendant-only requirement can be assessed. Tell us whether a bail or other connection part is included and provide your intended chain dimensions so the pendant can be reviewed for fit.
Can the same pendant be made in multiple finishes?
Possible finish versions can be reviewed together. Availability, MOQ and price per finish depend on the material, manufacturing route, setup and quantities for each variant; they are not automatically identical across colors.
